MBECUDA America stands for Mbei Cultural and Development Association. It is a non-profit and non-governmental organization formed in 2006 during our first ever Mbei convention in Minnesota. Special thanks to MBECUDA Minnesota for making it possible for Mbeiians to realize the importance of togetherness. MBECUDA is here to stay, and there is no turning back. The objectives of MBECUDA shall be:

  • To bring together all Mbei people in America with the view of promoting the cultural values of Mbei;
  • To foster a spirit of oneness, peaceful coexistence, and cooperation amongst its members;
  • To take a census of all the Mbei people in America. A permanent register will be maintained and updated as necessary;
  • To actively participate and contribute to development projects alone or in collaboration with other Mbei associations;
  • To organize Mbei cultural and traditional festivals.
  • To rejoice with members in times of happiness and condole them in times of sorrow;
  • To educate its members by calling on experts among its own ranks and those around them as friends and talk on subjects that are essential and beneficial to the association;
  • To share with each other any news from Mbei, Cameroon, and around the world.
